Scones

I am not the worlds best scone maker - but getting better.
3 cups flour
5 teaspoons (level) of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
25g (1oz) grated butter
1 3/4 cup milk - mixture needs to be moist

I grate my butter - then rub it into the flour.
Mix in milk.
Spread out on floured board & cut into shapes with cutter - or like yesterday just quickly cut with a knife.
Brushed tops with milk
cook in a hot oven 230 deg C for 10-15 minutes.


And for a special treat serve with cream & Jam.
